One of the nicest things said to me was by my young niece who said "Neil doesn't take pictures, he takes postcards." It's one thing to take a snap of some place you've been, but it's quite another to be able to capture the mood and feeling of that place. We travel not just to be on the move, but to take pictures along the way. It is not hard to understand why, for pictures of our travels allow us to relive our experiences, to once again smell the forest, to hear the foreign languages, to feel the sweltering heat and humidity, and to enjoy the festivities. Our travels, both personal and professional, have taken us through the Caribbean several times, across most of the United States, in almost every province plus the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Alaska, and across the U.K. And to be able to do this for a client who uses these same memories in assorted publications and still be able to elicit the same responses, is a truly wonderful experience. Can it get any better than this?
